Howdy!I I'm Michael Caney, from Chattanooga, TN. I bring a powerful blend of emotional depth, comedic instinct, and vocal agility to every performance. Musical theatre is my home—with lead and character roles in Mary Poppins (Mr. Dawes Sr.), Peter and the Starcatcher (Grempkin), The Music Man (Tommy Djilas), and more. I’ve trained with Dr. David Tahere (Covenant College), Mary Catherine Schimpf (Theatrico), and Anne K. Swedberg (PhD, UTC), gaining sharp instincts for both stage and screen. I’m also building experience in film and commercial work, bringing raw authenticity and adaptable presence. Stage combat, improv, and dialects (RP, Cockney, Russian, Southern, New Yorker) round out my toolkit—along with strong movement training and a deep passion for character-driven storytelling.
