About Me
Meera, is a South Asian actor and spoken word artist from the East Midlands, she graduated with a First Class Drama degree from De Montfort University (2020) and went on to train with award-winning Identity School of Acting in (2021). Recently, she became a member of The National Youth Theatre (2023) and is a member of The Belgrade Ensemble (2024) and New Associate Artist with the award-winning New Perspectives (2024) . Her recent debut of the spoken word poem "Immig-rant" at The Core Corby (2023) marked a significant milestone, with plans underway to develop it into a live art performance. Her practice embodies a fusion of artistry and advocacy deeply rooted in community-centric storytelling and cultural representation.
