Matthew Rechen Profile

My name is Matthew. I am an actor who is trained in the system (Stanislavsky and Meisner). I’m finishing up my bachelors in this training. This training works very well for characters of every emotional range. I can be comedic while also still having that beautiful truthful, depth that human beings all have. The same can be applied to less comedic characters and dramatic characters. As an actor, my experience lies in both Theater and Film productions. I played Benvolio and really got to apply my training. I found his innocence to be very beautiful, and I got to use my training to bring got out of the character. I played him like he was 11 years old and it really got to the hearts of audience! Part of my training is finding what a character truly wants, and what he lacks then bringing it to light.
