Matthew Holmes Profile

I am an actor based in Manchester who is keen to tackle a variety of genres, whether it be a comedy, drama, sci-fi thriller, voiceover work and more. Having left my marketing job behind over a year ago, I decided to pursue my childhood goal of becoming an actor, and have been proactively seeking new roles ever since.

Beginning with being an extra on Ted Lasso Series 3 and James Morrison’s music video for his single “Who’s Gonna Love Me Now?”, I was also lucky enough to be cast as a lead in a number of short films including “Race Invaders” and “Rented Identity”. During 2022 I was also cast in the lead role for two music videos: “Decade” by That Old Quiet Lighthouse and “Slowly” by Peacock Method.

I ended 2022 by being cast as one of the leads in the feature film “The God Helmet” and I live in hope that 2023 will build on this success. I'm a keen worker who is devoted to the acting profession, and am always looking for new opportunities to further my industry experience.
