Matteo Benigni Profile

My journey into professional acting began in 2018, and since then I’ve been training with Mark Pegg’s Acting Academy while fully committing to this path, recently completing my first year studying acting at ARU University in Cambridge, where I can further develop my skills and passion.

In 2024, I've had the privilege of performing in Quick but Painful, a short film by Everything Else Production (Director: Aaron R. Dorey): an intense piece that won Best Director at the World Film Festival of Cannes and Best Micro Short at the Folkestone Short Film Festival.

I’m actively involved in both theatre and screen work: I’ve performed in several university productions, recently completed an Introduction to Stage Combat, and currently collaborate with actor Geoffrey Williams in his theatre company, which focuses on physical exploration and ensemble work. I also engage in Gaga movement-based training.
