Maria Woolley Profile

I am an untrained actor but performance has always been a keen part of my life. My first role was a small part in the Shane Meadows film Smalltime.
As an artist my work has always involved elements of performance, often inviting and working with other performers, providing stage design, sets and costumes.
As a teacher of many years I have produced and directed several plays and have always coached children to express themselves through dancing, singing and acting.
Most recently, I played the role of Donna in the musical Mama Mia in a camp wide production. For several years I have sung with a local choir of 40 strong women called Belters and we perform twice a year.
Also, I have modelled for Larnauti, a small independent jewellery company in Nottingham.
