Maria De Sá Profile

At fifteen, I moved to London on a scholarship to study Acting at the Arts Educational School, Tring. I later graduated with a BFA in Acting and Film from the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles and began working professionally. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working across film and TV. Most recently, I was in LOVELY DARK and DEEP (2023), now on Apple TV, and just wrapped starring in the horror thriller EVER AFTER alongside Bonnie Aarons and Mark Sheppard. On television, I star in the miniseries DESASSOSSEGO (2024) and PRISMA (2024) streaming RTPplay, and I’m part of the series BROKEN SPIES, selected for Berlinale Market 2025 and one of the upcoming seasons of Netflix origional TURN OF THE TIDE. This year, I was also shortlisted for Best Supporting Actress at the Sophia Awards (Portuguese Academy Awards).
