Maria Alexe Profile

I am an actress and voiceover artist with experience working in the UK, Romania, and Spain. I speak English and Romanian to a native level, as well as advanced French, and Spanish to a conversational level. I can learn scripted German and Italian, and can perform in a variety of international accents. The most part of my acting experience is on stage (ranging from musical theatre and pantomime to classical theatre), but I have also worked in film and on plenty of voiceover projects (including dubbing). Apart from languages, I would count an excellent physicality and strong vocals, and also experience in different styles of theatre that I've acquired over the years. I enjoy physical theatre, but also deep character introspection, am open to touring and performing in non-conventional spaces, as well as to devising characters and stories as part of a team. Above all, I love telling stories through acting, and am genuinely eager for new challenges and characters.
