Maria Alencar is a London based actress with a diverse background who trained professionally as an actor. Originally from Brazil, Maria started her career on TV as brand ambassador for a variety of brands, then moved into Journalism where she worked as news reporter. After experiencing theatre under the direction of an acclaimed writer and director, she moved to Rio de Janeiro where she joined the cast of Globo TV; the largest network in Latin America - well known for Soap operas. She started acting on crime watch reconstruction series, Soap operas, and the French movie OSS 117: Lost in a Rio with the Oscar winner Jean Dujardin In 2009, Bodyguard TV Series as Gina McKee PA. Maria works in three languages: Portuguese, Spanish and English weather it is for voice over, acting or presenting corporate videos.
