Mara Borsa Profile

As an actress I embrace authenticity and human connection, seeking to breathe life both psychologically and physically to a variety of roles for stage and screen. My recent credits include Medea, directed by Greek director Dina Stamatopoulou and a self-devised solo choreography piece 'Departures' - a performance reflecting on journeys outside of borders and longing.
As a choreographer and theatre maker my work focuses predominantly on storytelling through movement, exploring the physical and psychological trajectories of emotions in the space. My performances often shadow themes of belonging, cultural journeys, identity, loss and memories.
