Luke Kelly Profile

Luke is, first and foremost, an excellent student. Often the first to speak up in class, always on time and well prepared, committed to the coursework and with a genuine passion for the subjects and drive to learn in a deep way, Luke is a pleasure to have in the class. His creative and questioning attitude, as well as the depth of knowledge he clearly has of literature and film, is striking at this level. This makes Luke an asset not only to the classes in which he participates but also to his student colleagues who benefit from his influence. In assignments submitted to date, Luke has demonstrated excellent time management and a very good level of creativity and critical ability. I have been consistently impressed by Luke’s insightful and articulate analyses of literary works, his expansive vocabulary, and the cinematic references he often deployed in conversation. Indeed, in my experience, Luke is a passionate communicator who is comfortable sharing ideas.
