Luke Edwards Profile

Hello, my name is Luke Edwards. I'm 30 years old and based in Coventry in the West Midlands. My passion for performing and musical theatre probably started from when I was a young child as my parents took me to see a lot of shows and musicals. I was also a member of my amateur youth group where we performed in multiple musicals a year which probably solidified this passion of mine.

My casting type and brand is very much the quirky comedic “Best Friend” character and that’s where I know my sweet spot is, even though I enjoy doing dramatic pieces as well.

One of my greatest achievements was getting the opportunity to go to Los Angeles California, where I attended AMDA (American Musical Dramatic Academy) studying acting, singing and dance for stage TV and film. Learning from different lecturers that are currently working in the American market allowed me to get an insight of how much work ethic and perseverance is needed to become successful in the industry.
