Louisa Sharp Profile

As a performer I have partaken in school productions for as long as I can remember, which culminated in my taking Drama at GCSE and Performing Arts (Acting) as a BTEC at A-level. My most recent performances have been 'Things I Know to be True' where I played Rosie, and 'Remote' where I played Antler. Alongside this I have been a part of Chichester Festival Youth Theatre for over six years. Combined this has given me the confidence to perform on stage, and the desire to perform on camera. Skills I have learnt include the ability to improvise mid-production, adapt my vocality to better suit my role, using body language and facial expressions to display how a character is feeling emotionally. Through my training, I've researched many practitioner techniques which I've applied to my work, including Stanislavski, Brecht, Artaud, Lecoq, and Meisner.
