Leanne Gough Profile

Leanne began singing from a very early age and comes from a very musical family. Her love of artists such as Stevie Wonder and Aretha Franklin gave her inspiration to pursue singing as a career and by the age of 18, she was gigging in various venues in the Manchester music scene. Her husband Damon, is a well known Manchester Musician and goes by the name of ‘Badly Drawn Boy’ - A Mercury Prize winning artist. She has been his backing vocalist between 2012 - 2020. Traveling nationwide and overseas, playing main stages such as Festival Number 6, Folklore and Ahoi festival.

She has a fully equipped studio in her home, which enables her to record to a professional standard remotely. Leanne can adapt her singing style accordingly. However, her natural tone and style suits soul and jazz the most. Leanne is very flexible and can be available at short notice.
