Lauren Fox Profile

I am not a professional actor or model, however I have been introduced to the world of TV and advertisements through being an understudy for a well known cancer charity televised advert, an understudy for a channel 4 segment on living with hidden disabilities and a live TV interview on Sky News. I’m currently a trainee clinical Psychologist in the final year of my Doctorate and working in mental health services. I’m confident but warm and approachable, I love putting myself out there and making people laugh. I feel comfortable being watched, observed and perceived by a crowd. I have a disability and I do a lot of advocacy work campaigning for better quality care and I also share my story with the disease on social media which led to a speech in parliament as an expert by experience. I live a quiet life but I think I am capable of more. My understudy opportunities despite having no formal acting training lead me to think I might actually be good at this!
