Karina Zakharyan Profile

I am a 21 year old lifelong actor, writer, and director, specialising in postmodern theatre theory, Shakespearean history, and stage combat. Post-Covid, I have been involved in 15 productions, taken on 9 lead roles, three directorial positions, and played lead in one short film; pre-Covid I was captain of our theatre department, completed a stage combat course, and received full marks in my Drama examinations. I'll take on anything thrown at me, but I'm most comfortable with masculine-leaning roles (not to say male). For a good benchmark for what I'm capable of, I learnt and performed as Guildenstern in a full run of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead in a fortnight, just after my university exams ended. I adore theatre and have been performing since I was five years old, and thoroughly enjoy immersing myself fully in a production until it's over.
