Julian Nichols Profile

I am a highly trained and versatile performer with a strong foundation in contemporary dance and physical theatre. My practice is rooted in movement, but I also bring acting experience that allows me to combine physicality with character work and storytelling on stage and screen.

Recent work includes creating and performing with my company Bodies in Action, commissioned choreography for Rambert School, and performances at venues such as East London Dance and Applecart Arts. My approach blends expressive movement, improvisation, and text, enabling me to shift between ensemble work, solo performance, and dance-theatre pieces.

I am comfortable taking direction, working collaboratively, and adapting to a wide range of performance environments. With strong stage presence, physical awareness, and an openness to exploring new styles, I bring both creativity and professionalism to every project.
