Julian Dobbin Profile

I’ve 24 stage performances to my name and have worked with outside edge theatre company, cardboard Citz theatre company, Artopia, Almeida Theatre and the Guildhall school of music and drama. I play older more complex characters and have in recent performances played a homeless artist and a recovering alcoholic, both performces were built on a solid foundation of experience and I’m very much a character actor placing emphasis on physical and emotional development. I’ve also done a couple of stand up events, performing my own material covering subjects like broken biscuits and why people shout at the telly! When I’m not go in up for auditions or rehearsals, I’m studying pre-med part time at a local college. I’m very adaptable, listen to directions, punctual and passionate about theatre, drama and acting. And consider any opportunity a chance to learn, grow and develop, both as an actor and a person. My heritage is mixed - Irish and Russian, and I’m willing to take on any part, to learn.
