Judith Mackie Profile

From a child I have been a dancer and amateur actor training through the Welland school of dance. At the age of 21 I was offered the opportunity to gain an equity card in a production of Cinderella. I declined the role due to my disability of severe scholsis, believing I could never be successful in the industry along side physically perfect people. I continued to perform in so many musical productions, plays, always securing the lead role. I am a strong character actor and have now retired from creating and managing a hughly successful new theatre. My goal in life is now to perform in film/TV work. My maturity brings character, humour and determination that you are never to old to revisit talents that should have been used many years ago as a professional performer.
