Jonathan Yee Profile

Jonathan Yee is an Eurasian actor, writer and musician based in Vancouver, BC. He is best known for his role in The Good Doctor but can also be seen in various commercials. Major lead role commercials he has been featured in are Canadian Tire, Verizon Wireless, and SAXX Underwear. Jonathan has also participated in many short films in an actor and producer capacity. Most notably, you can find him in the award winning film For Roy which was featured in over 60+ film festivals, coming 1st in many of them. Additionally, he will be making his directorial debut for a screenplay he wrote this year at a Vancouver film festival in 2024. He had the honor of playing a recurring SAE role in Netflix’s Avatar the Last Airbender, which ignited his interest in stunts. When Jonathan isn't writing scripts or acting, he's playing piano, guitar, soccer, basketball, hockey and/or film fighting in a gym somewhere!
