Costume Character: The performer is not required to have suit work experience. Training will be given in how to get into the suit and interact with children. Please be advised that you will be required to wear the character suit including full head piece for up to 45 minutes at a time, followed by a minimum 30 minutes out of the suit. Performers with pre-existing back or neck injuries should carefully consider whether this role is suitable for them.

Glasses: unable to be worn in the suit. Provision of contact lenses is performer responsibility.

Performers cast in this role will play the puppeteer and the costume character on alternating days, or as per their rota. You will also be scheduled to alternate in a swing capacity (paid onsite standby).

Please note that audiences will be allowed to take photos in parts of the experience and you will have to be comfortable having photos taken in character with members of the public.
