Title

Jacqueline

Content

Jacqueline has dedicated herself to her work for all of her life, but unlike Rick, she has found nothing but satisfaction and happiness from doing so. She has worked as the head of the local council’s urban planning committee and has personally overseen positive consequential change in her community due to her efforts.

Jacqueline is well-liked by all of her colleagues thanks to her professionalism, hard work and effusive nature, though they often criticise her for her relationship with Rick, whom they perceive, perhaps correctly, to be deliberately abrasive and unduly cynical. For years, she has dismissed these comments, but now, they have started to percolate into her mind.

Though she is content in her professional life, her personal life is far from the same. She is starting to doubt whether or not she should have married Rick, and has burdening regrets about her decision not to start a family with him – or with anyone.
