Great Grottos operate fantastic Christmas Grottos in UK Shopping & Garden Centres.

We hire & train hundreds of Santas & Elves each year to perform magical Santa visits and handout gifts to children.

Overview
Our Grotto Team Leaders are responsible for the day to day running of their Grotto.
The goal of Grotto is to provide unique and memorable visits for every family, and to sell
souvenir Santa photos.
Responsibilities Include:
1. Opening & closing the Grotto
2. Supporting the Grotto team
3. Ensuring Grotto visits are to a high standard
4. Ensuring the Grotto keeps up with bookings (about 1 family every 5 minutes
when busy)
5. Reporting staff attendance to Head Office
6. Ensuring staff are correctly dressed
7. Keeping the Grotto tidy
8. Cashing up daily / Banking weekly
9. Keeping the Store Room organised
10. Co-operating with the Shopping Centre Management – they are our client.
Training
All staff receive a day’s training day at the Grotto. You will meet the team, become
familiar with every aspect of the Grotto and store room. Training is paid at your hourly
rate.
Staff
We will typically hire 3 Santas and 6 Elves to fill the rota at one of our Grottos. They
will need you support throughout the season.

Salary

You can be PAYE or Self-Employed. . Wages are paid every two weeks. Wages are hourly at £13
