This is a fully-financed US based feature that blends sharp small-town comedy with real emotional depth. It's a nostalgic and sentimental story about grief, connection and the ties that outlast us.

At its centre is Dora, an mature tea-room medium whose gift for talking to the dead pulls together an unlikely ensemble: her whip-smart friend Janice, her granddaughter Chelsea quietly grieving beneath a tough exterior, a small-town sheriff carrying a secret he's never said out loud and a woman living with a diagnosis she refuses to let define her.

This is the kind of ensemble piece that doesn't come along often. Genuinely funny in places, genuinely devastating in others, with a supernatural thread running through it that never tips into camp.

We're assembling a brilliant cast around some exciting names already attached, and looking for actors who can embody the real, lived-in truth within characters who are, above all, deeply human.
