An unlikely motley crew of dead beats, hopeless in a world without job prospects, embark in a side hustle as sign spinners. What begins as a lucrative side hustle turns into an all out turf war as the bad boys BB Sign Spinning move in on their turf. Down on their luck and hopeless, the Spinners are ready to throw in the towel when they meet the most unlikely of heroes, an old Spinning Guru “the man with the third eye who lives under the pier” who teaches them the ways of the Spin. Empowered with new spinning skills and philosophy, the Spinner challenge the BB Boys to a winner takes all Spin Off for the ages. Loser must hang up their markers and vow to never sign again. A classic underdog comedy in the style of Dodgeball, shot improv like Curb Your Enthusiasm

This will be an improv based role. This film will be shot in the style of Curb Your Enthusiasm or Christopher Guest.

The man with the third eye who lives under the Santa Monica pier. A secret genius and a true original, he invented sign spinning when nobody else could see it — not by following anyone, but because his mind simply works differently. He took the world by storm and flew too close to the sun. A tragic accident with a metal sign ended his career and his life as he knew it. He vowed never to spin again — until Joe.
• Role in story: The mentor. Rejected at first by a cocky Joe. After the crew's defeat, teaches them the classic moves and the philosophy of the Spin, and warns that the Widowmaker must never be attempted again.
• Look: Shirtless trippy hippie in tie-dye pants. Yellow-lens wire-frame glasses with a third frame in the middle for his third eye.
• Source of genius: He's in touch with the divine presence and believes in manifestation. Many hallucinogens over the years opened doors most people never find (implied, kept PG-13). He's incredibly wise, and he doesn't care whether anyone believes him.
• Voice: Calm, cosmic, and cryptic, but when he says something plainly, it's exactly right. Every lesson sounds like nonsense until it works.
• Kindred spirit (proposed): He and Durkel recognize each other instantly. Everyone else is baffled by their conversations.

Deferred Payment. This is a zero budget passion project. We have gear, editing and locations, just looking for some passionate improv comedy actors who want to be a part of something we can sell once it's complete
