Do you have a fear of polystyrene?
We’re looking for people with a genuine fear of polystyrene to take part in Face Your Fears: Street Therapy, a documentary series exploring fears and the process of overcoming them.
Whether it’s the sound, the texture or simply being near it, we’d like to hear from you.
You’ll work with Christopher Paul Jones, Harley Street phobia specialist and author of Face Your Fears, who will guide you through a personalised process to explore your fear and work towards changing your response.
Filming will include talking about your experiences, your sessions with Christopher and supported activities to explore how you feel afterwards. You can pause or decline an activity at any point.
The sessions are provided at no cost in exchange for taking part in the documentary. No experience is needed, just a willingness to share your experience on camera.
Filming dates: Monday 5 and Tuesday 6 October 2026.
Location: Central London and South East London, UK.
You’ll need to be available on both dates and able to attend the filming locations.

Real People, Taking part as yourself, sharing your experience of living with a phobia and working with Christopher Paul Jones towards overcoming it. Filming will include informal interviews, guided sessions and supported activities, capturing your honest reactions and reflections throughout.

Salary

Unpaid participation. You’ll receive free personalised sessions with Harley Street phobia specialist Christopher Paul Jones, working towards overcoming your phobia, in exchange for taking part in the documentary.
