TaleGate Theatre is seeking passionate and skilled performers to animate our festive characters and delight families this Christmas. Join us for a magical, immersive event where pantomime-inspired storytelling blends seamlessly with interactive play and improvisation.

Set at Fairytale Farm, "Christmas with the Clauses" is rich with character interactions and playful experiences. We're looking for performers who excel at improvisation, enjoy connecting with children and families, and are eager to work collaboratively to craft unforgettable memories.

Dates

Rehearsal: 20th Nov
Performances: 21st, 22nd, 28th, 29th Nov. 5th, 6th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 16th-24th Dec
PLEASE NOTE: Performers must be available for ALL dates
Working hours: 9am to 7pm with one thirty minute break and one fifteen minute break.
Pay: A buyout of £2160 as per ITC day & week rates of pay.
Travel and accommodation are not provided so this opportunity will particularly suit actors who are local to the area (OX7 5QH) or able to commute easily.

Performers will create and deliver interactive theatrical experiences for families visiting ‘Christmas with the Clauses’ at Fairytale Farm. You will develop and inhabit unique characters and respond creatively to audience interaction. Whilst a framework and story will be provided, the role relies heavily on improvisation and your ability to bring the world to life beyond a fixed script.
