The young actress playing the siren, Leucothea, must convey and embody in every sense the “purity” of a creature from another world, beautiful but wild, remote from our own, be totally comfortable in her own skin and at one with her nature. When she appears, she should take the audience’s breath away and hold them spellbound every time she reappears. Hers is an ancient wisdom.

The actress playing this character must know English, but heavily accented English is not a problem. There will be no fishtails or mermaid costume or anything that might induce an audience to dismiss her as something out of Disney.

Nudity: The siren is not clothed (though her long hair will often wrap her) and she has two scenes of lovemaking with the young man who encounters and spends 20 days and nights with her. But her body and these scenes will be filmed in a way that is erotic and not lewd, suggestive and not explicit, poetry not pornography. There will be no vaginal nudity. Every effort will be made to enhance and not, through overexposure, to dispel her as a creature of mystery.

She is a being who comes out of the sea, so she will not be clothed. But, as I describe above, the camera will film her in a way that enhances her natural beauty and not exposes her body in a pornograhic way. She will be bare-breasted and the camera will at different times follow the line of her body, front and back, but there will be no vaginal exposure, That, like the mystery of whether her shapely thighs lead to a fishtail will remain a mystery.

There will be two lovemaking scenes, one when she first encounters the young man in the story (she will overwhelm him with her presence and her power) and another when she will invite him to watch her touch herself before beckoning him.

Shoot will be on location in Greece and present will be the director and essential crew to shoot and record these scenes, and where her full nudity will not be necessary for what the camera is filming, she will of course be covered.
