We are looking for a strong cast of comic actors with bags of energy and uninhibited physicality in order to bring these well-known characters to the Butlin’s stage. Directed by Kirk Jameson, choreographed by Fabian Aloise and with musical supervision by Mark Crossland.
Madagascar is an up-beat, feel-good adventure story based on the smash-hit DreamWorks animated motion picture of the same name. Just as with stage adaptations of ‘Shrek’ and ‘Aladdin’, this show is a stalwart of family entertainment that appeals to children and adults alike, for its silly and yet sophisticated brand of comedy.
This production will not be skin work and performers’ faces will be visible throughout the performance. Experience with puppetry is a bonus for all roles. Book by Kevin Del Aguila Music and Lyrics by George Noriega and Joel Someillan.

Performance dates are then spread through out the year. We are casting this show x 3 and depending on the resort you would be cast in would depend on the dates (full date sheet can be provided)

The Zebra. He is the instigator of the story and best friends with Alex the Lion. His curiosity to explore his African roots is what drives the narrative’s heart. Nonetheless, he is an animal at home in the New York streets, and he is undoubtedly urban/hip-hop in speech and physicality. Instinctively cool!
A strong comedy actor, rapping skills, MUST BE STRONG DANCER.
Baritone (Bb below mid C to high G).
Must be comfortable in lower register.
