Casting Call: We're seeking someone to participate in a film exploring stress levels across 170 cities. New York ranked lowest while Eindhoven, Netherlands, ranked highest. We aim to uncover unique insights by observing how familiar routines differ between these two settings.
We're in search of an individual from New York to be part of this project alongside someone in Eindhoven.
Ideal candidates are customer support agents or those in similar roles characterized by a standard nine-to-five schedule, desk work, and routine commute. The person in Eindhoven will mirror this workday, so we're seeking typicality rather than anything out of the ordinary.
This is not an acting role; there are no lines or scripts, and no prior experience in front of the camera is required. In fact, newcomers are encouraged to apply. - Dates
- One full day, Monday 28 September, morning to nightfall with breaks

You'd be a customer support agent, chef, barista, student, or something close enough to it that your day looks the same. Nine to five, a desk, a commute you do without thinking about it. We're filming the person in Eindhoven doing the same job, same start time, same beats, so what we need most is an ordinary week rather than an unusual one.
Here's what the day looks like. Two of us turn up at your place before you leave for work, with one camera and no lights. We film you leaving, your commute, a bit of your morning at work, your lunch, the ride home and your evening. Some of the filming happens on the subway, handheld, no tripod, exactly as the rules allow. We ask a few plain questions along the way, including how long your commute takes, what an ordinary day costs you before you've done anything, and whether the city is worth what it takes out of you. - Salary
- Estimated 8 hours of work Total: £300 - £600
- Age
- 18 - 60
