Overview: We are filming a series of street-style vox pops for a dog food box, featuring real dog owners and their dogs being spontaneously interviewed on camera. We are currently seeking an engaging presenter to conduct these interviews: someone who initiates interaction, poses questions, engages in trivia, and effectively delivers the main message. This presenter will be a constant presence throughout each conversation, anchoring the entire format.

Reason for this casting approach: The success of the vox pop relies on the presenter appearing as a genuine, inquisitive individual rather than simply a host following a script. We are looking for someone with warmth and authentic curiosity, the type of person you'd feel comfortable stopping to chat with on the street. Their natural interest will encourage dog owners to open up and will captivate the audience.

Who we're looking for. A woman, roughly 28 to 45, UK-based. Ordinary and relatable, the kind of person who could be your neighbour or a mate from work, with confident energy that reads as inquisitive rather than slick. She's warm, quick on her feet, genuinely interested in people, and comfortable leading a conversation and improvising around a script. Not a polished TV-host type, not corporate. Someone who can hold authority lightly and make a stranger feel at ease within seconds - and also likes dogs!
On the day. She'll run multiple scripted interviews with different owners and their dogs, guiding each one through the same beats: the stop, the trivia, the questions, the pitch. Scripts provided and to be learned in advance, with room to react naturally in the moment. Comfortable around dogs is a must.
