Sakura Productions is producing a short promotional film for the Retired Police Officers Association Scotland (RPOAS).
The film explores the connection between policing, family and community, and how that connection can continue after the loss of a police officer.
Through Janet's story, we want to show that RPOAS remains there for police families during difficult times, offering friendship, support and a sense of belonging.
The film will also highlight RPOAS's complimentary honorary membership for police widows and widowers, giving them access to member services including the established Welfare & Wellbeing Service.
We're looking for a natural, emotionally grounded performance. The subject matter is sensitive, but the overall message is positive and reassuring. The performance should feel genuine and understated rather than overly theatrical.
A natural Scottish accent is preferred, ideally from an actor based in Scotland.
The finished film will be professionally produced and used by RPOAS across its website, social media and wider promotional and communications channels.
