We are seeking five actors for a short film that explores the real-world challenges encountered by police detectives, inspired by accounts from active officers. The film will adopt an intimate, documentary-style approach, with each character delivering their story directly to the camera, as if engaged in conversation at a café table. The setting will be a worn and unassuming "greasy spoon" café, to enhance authenticity and subtlety.

We aim to assemble a diverse cast that mirrors the true demographic of the police force. Actors should convey a natural and believable presence, and be adept at delivering emotionally resonant material directly to the camera.

The film will be shot in an intimate, documentary-style format, with each character speaking directly to camera as though sitting across a café table. The setting will be a tired, dreary “greasy spoon” café, creating an authentic and understated atmosphere.
We are looking for a diverse cast that reflects the real demographic makeup of the police force. Actors should feel natural, believable and comfortable delivering emotionally grounded material directly to camera.
