CASTING and CREW CALL for upcoming black comedy short film called THE ROOT
Directed by Sterling Wesson, Non-Union.
Synopsis: When two friends find a tree that literally grows money, it threatens to destroy their lives.
ACTING ROLES
Cassidy (Open gender and ethnicity, 20s) - Slacker but lovable, always looking for the easy way out, unemployed.
Alex (Open gender and ethnicity, 20s) - Level-headed, smart, working a 9-5 but trying to find peace in the little things
Chase (Male, White, 20s) - Crypto finance bro, Andrew Tate lover, completely insufferable, huffs his own supply.
Rate: $75 per day (Chase most likely only shooting on 11th) - Dates
- Shoot Dates: September 11-13th
