One actor to play both brothers (Tiberius and Gaius) performing a single, powerful monologue broken into lines that shifts between the two brothers' final moments. Requires strong classical or contemporary dramatic training, comfort with heightened text and shifting emotional states, and ability to convey outrage, grief, and defiant hope. Prior monologue or Shakespeare experience preferred but not required.

Tiberius Gracchus (133 BC): The elder brother. Idealistic, passionate, willing to break tradition to redistribute land to the poor. He was clubbed to death on the Capitol by senators and their supporters.

Gaius Gracchus (121 BC): The younger brother. More radical, more strategic. He was killed after the Senate issued the senatus consultum ultimum, a decree that made political murder legal.
