This is a beautiful and heart breaking film for the prestigious Sean Connery Talent Lab/NFTS.

The film is a genre-bending drama called 'With A Stranger'. Newly-engaged Nora wakes to find her fiancé vanished and a knife-brandishing stranger in her kitchen. She fights for survival, until she's forced to accept her perception of reality is damaged: she is actually 80 years old, experiencing dementia, and the stranger is her grandson.

Writer and director is an award winning writer and filmmaker.

She’s physically fit, but she is currently experiencing late-stage dementia, as part of which she has forgotten her second language (English), leaving her even more isolated from her family. Still the life of the party, she can’t quite believe what’s happening to her, and desperately tries to retain control over her life and her mind.
