Kya, a Bajan artist adjusting to life in the UK, and her neurodivergent friend Serenity
navigate new relationships while dealing with adulthood, housing insecurity and
family trauma. As Kya slowly opens up to her neighbour Devonte, Serenity's
relationship with Isaac is tested by his alcoholism and her own experiences growing
up with an alcoholic mother. Through conflict, separation and reconciliation, both
couples learn to communicate honestly and embrace vulnerability.

This Vertical Series will be distributed only to Social Media Platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube etc.)

Filming will take place over the course of 8 days between the dates specified.

Devonte is Kya’s neighbor and love interest in Different People. He’s a chef that had a very sheltered childhood. Meeting Kya has made him realize how much more freedom he should allow himself to have in his Adult Years.

Only needed for 5 days of filming.

Trying to fill this role ASAP.

Salary

We’re working on Funding to at least cover everyone’s expenses at the end of the project but this is dependent on if we’re successful in securing it. We’re willing to provide free headshot sessions, showreel footage and IMDb credit as a thank you.
