Casting call: In search of a dynamic female performer for "The AI Girlfriend" (working title), an independent, short drama/thriller sci-fi film. This unique project features a single, continuous, direct-to-camera monologue lasting 90-120 seconds, showcasing raw, unedited performance.

The film aims to caution against the harmful use of AI, while simultaneously employing AI technology in its production. The choice to use a live actor for motion capture is deliberate, aiming to deliver a genuinely emotive human portrayal within an imagined AI character.

Actor retains non-exclusive rights to use the finished film and/or excerpts in their personal demo reel and portfolio following the film's official release (no use or posting prior to release).
Actor receives on-screen credit.
No travel, lodging, or additional perks apply, role is fully remote and self-recorded, with direction provided in writing/notes rather than live.

AI STATEMENT:
The footage provided by talent candidates will not be used to train, test, or create avatars or AI programming. This footage is for one specific project and role. This a one-time use. The content will not be used for training data and will not be replicated, nor will the content be sold or sub-licensed. The content will be used to produce motion capture of another character (artificially generated) through which the actor's performance will be captured. Think motion capture of characters in movies like Avatar.

Responsibilities: perform a 90-120 second uncut monologue across 7-8 takes, each a distinct emotional variation; build a full arc within each take from warmth to a cold, confident close; follow strict framing/lighting parameters; take direction across remote retakes.
