SKINNY BOY is a charged, visceral drama that explores a mother at her wit’s end as she tries to get her sick son to eat food.

A mother at her tipping point. Dinnertime in Wolverhampton, 2001. Cooking dinner for her dying mother and family, arguing with her brother on the phone — and worst of all: her son hasn’t been eating at all.

SKINNY BOY is about the stress that an eating disorder can put on a family: a mother that isn’t prepared for such stress; a son that can’t even figure out why he’s not eating at all.
