"Following two highly successful years, Feral Productions and The Courtyard are bringing back "The Word On The Street" to Hereford’s city centre for 2026!"

Casting "The Word On The Street," a theatre walk around Hereford. Shows will take place over one weekend, with audience members meeting at Die Koffie Pot. Each group will be given a map detailing their route through the city. Along the way, actors will surprise them with performances based on local events and characters. These actors could be dressed as anything; they could be shoppers, security guards, or cyclists, keeping the audience on their toes throughout.

Dates

Rehearses 27 June in Hereford, UK. (3-hour call between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.); runs
4-5 July (midday-6 p.m.) inside Lee's Place in Hereford, UK.

An ex-serviceman (A Rock Ape), who welcomes the audience members to Lee's Place, a charity working with homeless clients in Hereford. He is warm and down to earth, with a passion for the cause. He volunteers at Lee's Place after his brother became homeless some years ago.

Salary

Pays £400 for 3days (15 hours in total) including all travel. As rehearsal time is short, lines will need to be learned in advance.
