The role is for a young Indian woman who has moved to London and adapted to try to fit in better with Western culture, distancing herself from her own roots, including her love for the Indian dance form, Kathak. No prior knowledge of Kathak is required. The performance is largely non-verbal, focusing mainly on expressions and gestures rather than dialogue.
