Casting Call for Play "You've Gone Quiet"

Overview: The narrative centers on Beth, a trans journalist navigating her career amidst personal challenges. When approached by her best friend for assistance in starting a family, Beth witnesses how the media sensationalizes this personal request, ultimately affecting the lives of those involved.

In an engaging twist, the audience initially experiences the play from Beth's perspective. Actors will interact with designated focal points, allowing the audience to immerse themselves in the experience of being a trans individual. Beth's character is revealed to the audience towards the play's conclusion.

Rehearses 8 May (10 a.m.-5:30 p.m.; first tech rehearsal 1 June at Brockley Jack; mandatory rehearsals May 28-29); rehearsals continue 12-29 May and possibly 30 May as a float date, at The Cockpit, Gateforth St., London; works 2-20 June 2026 (11 in total) in London.
