Joanna Welch Profile

Mature actor based in the East Midlands but able to travel to a wide range of locations across the UK especially London and the South East. Currently performing as lead female (Doris) in A Mother's Ransom at the Little Theatre in Leicester. Have many years of stage experience with amateur musical theatre (Dracula, The Addams Family, My Fair Lady, Jekyll and Hyde, Shrek) and classical ballet (The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty and numerous others) taking lead and supporting/ensemble roles. I regularly perform at Murder Mystery events with Milestone Entertainment so I am used to improv. I am trained in classical ballet to advanced level. I am extremely fit and athletic - I take weekly ballet classes as well as body combat and body step. I am able to perform a number of different accents including PR and heightened PR, cockney, Essex, Midlands. I am a proficient skier, having skied since the age of 18. I can swim.
