My name is Jimmy Schofield, I'm a 20 year old emerging actor based in London and Brighton. I have a wide and varied portfolio of theatre work around Sussex. My roles over the last 2 years include 'Andrew' in 'Queers', Bobby (+10 roles)' in 'Bobby and Amy' and 'John' in 'The Lion in Winter' at Brighton Little Theatre. All of these plays involved studying different acting styles and practitioners. In 'Bobby and Amy', I played 11 roles opposite one other actor, with minimal set and no costume changes, whereas playing Andrew in 'Queers' required extended naturalistic monologue work. I played 'Ray' in the Southwick Player's production 'The Beauty Queen of Leenane' at the Barn Theatre. I have a Grade 8 LAMDA distinction. I also performed in the Glyndebourne Youth Choir in the world premiere of 'Uprising'. My musical talent also extends to my guitar and piano skills. I am a versatile and unique actor, and I relish every role I play. I'm always open to new direction and collaborative ideas.
