About Me
Jesse is a New Zealand-born actor and residential London artist since 2018, known for quiet, emotionally grounded screen work (and for dodging the odd double-decker in Hackney).
He trained at Brave Studios and The Actors Studio in Melbourne, and approaches acting from the inside out, drawing more on lived experience than theory.
His screen credits include Shadow and Bone (Netflix), Brave New World (Peacock/Amblin), and Pandora (The CW/Sony), where he’s brought a still, emotional presence to roles across drama, fantasy, and science fiction. He also starred in and directed the award-winning short Donovan (Some Like it Short, Milan 2020), winning Best Actor, and most recently appeared in the indie short Bath Guy.
Commercial work includes campaigns for Domino’s, The Lucy Faithfull Foundation, and The Londoner Macao with David Beckham. His early stage work includes Erasers at Melbourne’s OCT.
Originally from Aotearoa, Jesse is represented by Karen Kay Management in New Zealand.
