Jemma Louise Brown Profile

I’m 46, from the Wirral, and I’ve just re-signed with Galloways who I was represented by a number of years ago.

Bit of background… I had a main role in Children’s Ward 1995 (produced by Keiran Roberts) with Danny Dyer, Maxine Peake, Jane Danson and Samia Ghadie. I played a small role in Coronation Street in 1996, but then took a 3 years out to train in Drama at Manchester Met.

I did some TIE work with Quantum Theatre, but despite my training, I struggled to get a new agent for any TV castings, so I took a break and worked in Marketing/ Advertising for 10 years. I moved to London in 2009 and got a new agent and I did some good TV commercials, then a few years later, I got married and moved back up North to start a family - my children are now almost 10 and 12, so I am more flexible now and looking to work again.

I did a commercial with BBC last year for Eurovision Liverpool and have continued acting with some very professional local theatre groups.
