Born and raised in Switzerland, Jasmin Angéline Affolter discovered her passion for language, movement, and film at an early age. She appeared on stage as a child, completed her first acting training at 17, and soon developed a strong love for film acting.
After earning a bachelor’s degree in media, communication, and film in Zurich, she continued her acting training in Cologne and expanded her English-language acting skills through workshops in Los Angeles. She is particularly drawn to historical dramas, sports films, and physically demanding roles requiring emotional depth and linguistic versatility.
Jasmin has a strong talent for languages and accents. Movement and sports play a central role in her life: she dances, plays various ball sports, started riding horses again, and has been a passionate tennis player for over 20 years. She has also performed her own stunts, including sword fighting and close combat. Today, she lives and works between Zurich and Cologne.
