Jane Philpott Profile

Three years into retirement from teaching. I am an ex Pe/Dance teacher and Assistant Head of a Special Needs school. Keen to use my practical skills on stage including dance experience-contemporary/ballroom/latin and salsa.

Now have more time to create and develop my craft enjoying voice over/audio work too. I am proud of my work to date, short films, promenade performances, and devised work. I am currently rehearsing a Play for 2025 with Northern Rep. “Still Not Being Mean” which is a comedy about three sisters and play a retired doctor and protagonist as one of those leads.

I am loving my journey and continue to learn and gain valuable experiences. I attend weekly acting classes for TV with ActUpNorth as well as both Play Reading and Drama sessions for Elders at the Royal Exchange Manchester.

I am very fit for my age still playing competitive tennis and attending the gym for fitball and yoga.

Eager to experience all genres of drama especially comedy.
