Montgomery's first notable stage appearance was as the lead in Agatha Christie's "And Then There Were None". He followed this performance with a standout portrayal of Saul Watson in "Play On!", where his sharp wit and charisma were on full display. His most celebrated theatrical role came as Cliff Anderson in "Deathtrap", under the direction of Matthew Greer. Montgomery has also demonstrated his musical talents on stage, playing the Tin Man in "The Wizard of Oz" and delighting audiences with his comic timing as Mortimer, the man who dies, in "The Fantasticks".
