Jacob McLay Reid Profile

I’m a London-based actor with a strong sporting background and a naturally physical approach to my work. In 2024 I graduated with a First Class Honours and recently completed the UK and Ireland tour of ‘Chicago’. My focus as an actor is on truthful, grounded storytelling and building characters with presence and authenticity on screen.

I spent over 15 years competing in rugby and basketball, which has shaped my discipline, stamina and ability to work under pressure. Physicality plays a central role in my acting, whether through movement, stillness or action-driven work. Outside of acting, I play piano and train in Muay Thai (Thai Boxing Martial Art). I approach each project with curiosity, commitment and a genuine enthusiasm for the work.
